Ultrasonic 'sound' is sent out from a 'speaker' and the distortion encountered on hitting the air produces hearable sound, but only in certain spots. You could be standing right next to someone and they would hear nothing. One step closer to the cone of silence!"

    Anybody who watches the Discovery Channel has seen the reruns of the piece they did on this technology a zillion times already.

    How to they plan on overcoming the laws of nature? Wave Theory? The higher the frequency, the less deviation from the path of departure...OK, then what about low frequencies such as by a subwoofer? How do they plan on directing that? Or are we just going to get tinny sounds from now on?
