Ask About Running Windows Software in Linux
There have been recent reports about programs from Israel, Canada, and The Philippines that let you run Windows software in Linux. Are they really new? Can they succeed? Is this whole effort worth the time and trouble going into it? CodeWeavers CEO and Wine maven Jeremy White ought to know, since he's been working to bring Windows software to Linux users for many years -- with quite a bit of success. We'll forward 10 - 12 of the highest moderated questions posted here to Jeremy, and run his answers as soon as we get them back.
Linux software running in Windows interviews you!
On a scale of 1-10 I'd say it's a 9 out of 10. VERY EASY. Works extremely well, and I love it.

When you interview a candidate for an open position you should ask them if they know how to run Windows software under Linux.
When you are being interviewed, ask if you can run the required Windows software under Linux.

How did you like it when I gave you the bone hard and fast last night? I was the one in the sombrero...
1. To start - Build a robust, module and secure operating system such as Linux. (Done).
2. Kill Window's OS - Build a suitable Window's application emulation environment that runs under Linux to start migrating existing Window's users. (Incomplete).
3. Kill Window's applications - Once end users are migrated into Linux, Window's applications can be killed off at random. (Partially done already).
Linux is the best. Someday everyone will be using Linux.
Because F/OSS looks a lot like the word FLOSS and nobody really wants to floss, but they have to. Much like flossing, nobody really wants to use F/OSS, they have to because they are either cheap bastards who don't want to spend the money on quality software or they are broke as a joke and have no other choice.
It's amazing how pathetically little it takes for McCarthyism to raise its head. Well, Mr Crangle, don't worry - at four o'clock in the afternoon... every evil man and woman will be exactly two feet tall.
Too funny. You can't even answer my simple question about what constitutes proof, and you raise your own Communist version of Godwin's Law at the same time. Classic. Ignore everything that's completely valid, take something out of context, and put up a nice Straw Man to attack. Brilliant trolling!
I'm still waiting for a reply. I suspect none is forthcoming. Pity.
