Water-Cooled Half-Life 2 Case Mod
Takara writes "In an enormous from scratch project, piloux has recreated the HL feel in his LAN PC. This UV reactive watercooled case features 7 fans along side the meticulously texture painted contents. Take a look at the finished product images."
In the (looooooong) thread (@BitTech) he explains how he actually did pay attention to typing comfort. Most of those sharp spots just look sharp or are out of the way of the wrists.

Has some additional pics of this case that showoff the keyboard and some of the lighting a bit better.
Actually, this page was slow yesterday (5.24.04), after the flood from a Gizmodo listing.
The MS Explorer V3.0 does 6000 samples/second at 400dpi, actually.
The Logitech MX mice do around 5250 samples/second (according to THG) at 400 or 800dpi.
Both are great mouses, but I can't stand the ergonomics of the MS ones.
Eat the rich.
My logitech mouse has never given me any grief, even plugged into USB which used to mean latency death in any and all games. The single-speed sampling opticals are crap for games, they have a distinct tendency to go backwards and jitter when sitting still. This thing doesn't have any of those problems, will likely never need maintenance, looks cool sitting on my desk, and cost $30. I just can't see buying old technology that I know is crap anyway. Why not support the new stuff so it improves?
"You're right," Fisheye says. "I should have set it on 'whip' or 'chop.'"
