SPF To Be Integrated With MS 'Caller ID' System

An anonymous reader submits "CNET's news.com is reporting 'An ongoing effort to consolidate antispam authentication schemes took a big step forward with the merging of Sender Policy Framework (SPF) and Microsoft's Caller ID for E-mail.' (dear lord, what have I sunk to. I've posted an 'in Soviet Russia' joke. Here I've resisted all this time, and... well, damn. I might as well start drinking again. Twelve years sober and I've thrown it all away for a cheap AC post. Next is the heroin and the prostitution to support my habit. So much for the day job. Bye, SlashDot! Bye, wife! Make sure you let them know that patents on email technology are unacceptable. Merging is okay, let's just keep the SPF license, not the Microsoft one.
