    Dear Linux Credit maintainer,

    Is it possible to get a loan of $5,000 towards open source development?

    My parents (unappreciative of open source software development philosophy and totally unfamiliar with the works of Richard M. Stallman) keep telling me to find a job, a nice girl, and settle down, by which they mean moving out of their house.

    I've been on /. for a number of months now, and i have been trying (casually) to figure out what it means when someone says a website has been "/.'ed"
    Would someone please let me know, and while you're at it, don't be an insensitive clod (unless its funny) :)
