Phoebe Pictures Released

EccentricAnomaly writes "NASA has begun to release some pictures from Cassini's Phoebe flyby last Friday. If you look at the thumbnail of this image or if you look at the right of these images, you can see a group of craters that look like a skull just south of the equator and something that looks like George Washington (wearing his wig) near the north pole. Come up with some good names for features, and you can submit your ideas to the IAU. There's a process for naming a newly discovered crater, fossa, or sulcus. By the way, the naming convention for Phoebe is people associated with Phoebe or the Greek islands."

    Oh, yes, it is! OMG!!!

    IT'S SMELLY CAT!You can so totally see his eyes and nose. It's those three big craters about 60% of the way down the surface.

    Damn I miss that show... Jennifer Aniston was so hot.

    He's been hiding on Phoebe all this time, waiting for the state of affairs in the United States to hit rock-bottom before making his triumphant return and lifting American society to its pinnacle.

    Seriously. You guys need a George Washington right about now. Too bad you're not gonna get him before the DHS does, though ...

    Seems to me that a base on Phoebe is the only hope... too bad.

      I agree.

      Our nation is honouring a president's death who

      1. Ran up a record defict (until recently)
      2. invaded several small countries
      3. In any one year, Had the most number of scandles of any previous admin (even more than W has had in 4 years)
      . About the only reason why he is being celbrated is that he is the only replublican since Eisenhower to not get convicted.

      Now, we have a total idiot in the office who is acting like some of our worse attributes from the 1800's, and about 45% of this nation is cheering this on.

      We sorely need another Washington, Lincoln, FDR, truman, Eisenhower, or Kennedy.
