I couldn't see this happening. There is a certain mindset in spammers, and many other people, that says that they and only they matter. Wikipedia defines Narcissism as "the pattern of traits and behaviors which involve infatuation and obsession with one's self to the exclusion of others and the egotistic and ruthless pursuit of one's gratification, dominance and ambition." These people see no incentive to take on board the effect of their behavior on others. It's like the drivers of gas-guzzling SUVs in the US who don't give a shit how much pollution or oil-wars they cause as long as they get to drive an oversized vehicle for their own personal fulfillment. You just can't reason with people like that.
