I must have missed it, but I guess Dynasty Warriors was announced for the DS at E3. Up till this point, that game was one of the few advantages the PSP had in my mind. However, the DS library is looking more and more attractive. Combined with their first-party line-up, it seems like Nintendo is poised to fight Sony tooth and nail. Whatever, though... It's about time we had some competition in the portable arena. Nintendo has gotten way too complacent with their Gameboy. It's a real shame we don't see more original titles from them on the GBA... the system's best years have been squandered away.

On a side note, if any GBA fans haven't checked out Superstar Saga yet, definately give it a shot. I am not an RPG fan, but this game is highly entertaining.

I don't know why people say this, I love my Gameboy and actually think the DS won't have the great 2d games the GBA has now. The GBA has its place just like my SNES and N64 that still get use, in addition to the Gamecube.

Pokemon, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, the Golden Sun series, Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, Metroid Fusion/Zero Mission, Zelda: Four Swords... I'm sure I'm missing some.

There are plenty of original games out there. I'll agree that there are a lot of remakes (SMB 2/3, Mario World/Yoshi's Island, Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland, Link to the past, Famicom Mini series), but when you consider that many of them are over 15 years old, and that many of Nintendo's customers weren't even *alive* when those games were first released, I think it makes perfect sense to re-release some of these old classics.

Personally, I think it's great that these games are being made available again. Most of them have stood the test of time very well. I think it's a good thing for new young players to see some of modern video gaming's roots.

as a Hardcore gamer that has no affiliation to any company i'll be buying both PSP and DS and i can see right away that its gonna be even more heated than the PS2/GC/XBC console war, both systems have their ups and downs and both systems have huge target audiences that will probably go down fighting with their Portable of choice. before the chaos ensues i want everyone to remember, in Console wars, the only real winners are the Gamers

Wow, I feel old, The PS2/GC/XBC war is nothing compared to the SNES/Genesis war, now that one was good. I can still remember s few slogans.. "Sega does what Nintendon't" and "Why got to the next level when you can go light years beyond" Ahh. memories.

I'm hoping and praying for a Earthbound Zero / Mother 1 port someday for the gameboy. I'd also love to see the SNES Earthbound released, and while we're on the subject, how about Chrono Trigger? My wish list goes on to include the SNES StarFox, but that goofy FX chip they jammed in the game may make it a difficult port. I honestly still can't figure out the purpose behind that FX chip...
