More Microsoft Patents
An anonymous reader writes "One of the editors of LinuxWorld Magazine has an entry in his blog detailing more patents that Microsoft recently acquired. No, this isn't a rehash of the sudo patent. The new patents include one that seems to patent the use of the keyboard to navigate a web page! See the article here."

With as little as IE has changed over those seven years, referencing IE 3 is probably just as well.
Linux is a toy for nerds and nerd wannabes, it still has a long way to go so the NORMAL users can install it and use the applications. So it will not take over the desktop, nor will it be a threat to MS at any time...

Your remark of willingness to pay more for apps in linux is laughable, use a free OS, pay more for the apps...ya that makes the TCO bottomline look good...lets not forget the lack of support
