jschauma writes "The third quarterly NetBSD status report has been published, covering the months July through September of 2004. Among many other things, this status report covers NetBSD version numbering scheme changes and of the upcoming release of NetBSD 2.0."

    The logo is going to be the FreeBSD devil on the ground with his tongue hanging out. Why, you ask? Simple - because BSD IS DYING.

    Some kind of bug has obviously thrust the bsd.slashdot.org page into the generic slashdot.org front page. Unless you're colorblind, you certainly haven't added to the intelligent content.

    FWIW, I'd like to see a downtime.slashdot.org page, with stories posted about cracks, bugs and outages at good ol' Slashdot itself. The slashdot.org topic hasn't carried one since 4/16/04, but the past few days have been pretty haggard.
