Half-Life 2 Ship Date Confirmed
An anonymous reader writes "Worthplaying has the scoop on the official going gold of Half-life 2. According to their information it has a confirmed ship/store date of November 16!" Gamespot has details on the ship date as well.
I'll answer myself:
Gamers have been able to purchase (via pre-order) Half-Life 2 through developer Valve's Steam downloading service since last week. For those consumers, however, the game will not be playable until the 16th.
Wow great Valve. Not only do I not get a fucking CD, but I get to wait until the street release date too. What a bunch of fucking bullshit.
I've just signed legislation that'll outlaw Russia forever. We'll begin bombing in five minutes.
I'll be so busy playing Halo 2 and Metroid Prime 2 that I won't have time for your junk.
Every "decade-in-the-making" uber PC title has been a huge dissapointment to me. Too much hype makes gameplay feel like a letdown. I'm talking Black and White, Doom 3, Unreal 2, too many to list.
Will they charge 15 bucks more than every other PC title out there, expecting to gouge a little cash due to the hype, the same way they did with Doom 3?
I don't need no instructions to know how to rock!!!!
