MyDoom Seeks to Destroy Antivirus Firms

Khoo writes "Worm writers are threatening to attack antivirus companies F-Secure, Symantec, Trend Micro and McAfee. In the latest version of MyDoom--MyDoom.AE--the authors embedded a message ridiculing rival worm Netsky and promising to attack the antivirus companies."

Not quite, people just have to think that you've stopped writing virii.

Writing "virii" when they actually mean "viruses" should be punishable by death.

See? Everyone understands me. Let's all abandon what bleedin' defines a language: common vocabularies, spelling, syntax and grammar. Let's encourage people who risk looking like retarded clowns outside their own very small social context to keep on writing "virii", "grammer", "should of" et c., because we UNDERSTAND what they REALLY mean, right?

No? Wouldn't it be better if people actually tried to WRITE what they really mean, instead of hoping that readers will bother guessing?

I'm a doctor. Really. No seriously! Believe me dude. Believe me! I'm even a better doctor than I am a karma whore! I was simply thinking along the lines that, if the creators of such virUSES were to attack the entities responsilble for null and voiding a virus, they'd be trying something a little more creative than just a DOS attack. As far as I know, a DOS is rather temporary. Which is a pointless victory in war.

Just look at the comments to this story. It's fucking pathetic.

As a non-native English speaker I'm baffled by how native English speakers could possibly mistake "their" for "they're" and so on - and do it consistently! Don't they even know what they're trying to write?
