NetBSD Chooses New Logo

The logo was selected out of over 400 submissions in an albeit lengthy process, where the developers considered various important aspects of a new identifying logo.     A freaking LOGO is news?!?!?!

    I doubt SlashDot would consider it "news" if Microsoft came out with a new logo for their latest InternextActiveDirectXbox product. Why are we supposed to give a damn about this?
