Movie Industry to sue File Sharers
Wack Valenti writes "SiliconValley.com reports that the motion picture industry, taking a cue from the RIAA, is planning to file copyright infringement lawsuits against file sharers it says are illegally distributing movies online. The first suits could be filed as early as tomorrow."

It is official; Netcraft confirms: the Democrat Party is dying
One more crippling bombshell hit the already beleaguered liberal community when IDC confirmed that democrat voters have dropped yet again, now down to less than a fraction of 1 percent of all voters. Coming on the heels of a recent Netcraft survey which plainly states that the Democrat Party has lost more members, this news serves to reinforce what we've known all along. The Democrat Party is collapsing in complete disarray, as fittingly exemplified by failing dead last in the recent poll of registered voters.
You don't need to be a Kreskin to predict the Democrat Party's future. The hand writing is on the wall: the Democrat Party faces a bleak future. In fact there won't be any future at all for the Democrat Party because the Democrat Party is dying. Things are looking very bad for the Democrat Party. As many of us are already aware, the Democrat Party continues to lose members. Red ink flows like a river of blood.
Limousine Liberals are the most endangered of them all, having lost 93% their SUV driving soccer moms. The sudden and unpleasant departures of long time Democrat Zell Miller only serve to underscore the point more clearly. There can no longer be any doubt: the Democrat Party is dying.
Let's keep to the facts and look at the numbers.
Democrat leader Kerry states that there are 7000 members of the Democrat Party. How many members of the Massachusetts Liberals are there? Let's see. The number of Democrat Party versus the Tree-Hugging Liberal posts on Usenet is roughly in ratio of 5 to 1. Therefore there are about 7000/5 = 1400 Hand-Wringing Liberals. Bed-Wetting Liberal posts on Usenet are about half of the volume of Democrat Party posts. Therefore there are about 700 disenfranchised democrats. A recent article put Limousine Liberals at about 80 percent of the Democrat Party constituency. Therefore there are (7000+1400+700)*4 = 36400 Democrat voters. This is consistent with the number of left-wing Usenet posts.
Due to the troubles of Interns, Filegate, Whitewater, abysmal sales and so on, the Democrat Party of California went out of business and was taken over by DNC who sell another troubled platform. Now DNC is also dead, their corpse turned over to yet another charnel house.
All major surveys show that the Democrat Party has steadily declined their constituency. The Democrat Party is very sick and its long term survival prospects are very dim. If the Democrat Party is to survive at all it will be among tree-hugging hand-wringing bed-wetting dilettante dabblers. The Democrat Party continues to decay. Nothing short of a miracle could save it at this point in time. For all practical purposes, the Democrat Party is dead.
Fact: the Democrat Party is dying
I always fall asleep in them, and when I don't, it's usually cause somebody nearby is pissing me off with their talking, or I'm getting chewed out cause I'm pissing someone ELSE off somehow. For me, viewing movies outside of a relatively intimate environment like my home, or a friends, is not enjoyable.
And anyway, releasing only to theaters initially is essentially just a way to control distribution and inflate ticket costs via artificial scarcity. Why do we put up with this shit?
Oh that's right, we don't, and that's why they're suing us.
