Firefox Users Bad For Advertisers

rocketjam writes "According to CNET, German advertising technology company Adtech reports that during the months of October and November, Internet Explorer users were more than four times as likely to click on ads than Firefox users were. During the period 0.5 percent of IE users clicked on ads compared to 0.11 percent of Firefox users. Speculation on reasons for the difference in click rates range from Firefox's integrated pop-up blocking to seeing the average Firefox user as more tech-savvy the average Internet Explorer user."

    that'll teach them to send ME popups! MUAHAHAH! the internet was not intended for advertising and solicitation. the only problem is maintaining a server without making the $$$ from advertising. does it REALLY take that much!?

    Well if you'd freaking let me pass, I wouldn't have to pull some crazy stunt passing on the right and squeezing in front of you... People travelling in the left lane 1 MPH faster than the car in the lane to their right piss me off! Volvos also handle nicely, and are usually driven by skilled drivers (which might be fast, but also know how to take turns and non-ideal road conditions, especially with the recent AWD models).
