`Gates and Microsoft`
don't tell me something else comes to mind when you think of bill gates, especially for the general public
if they hear this on the media, microsoft will get recognition from it
by the way, A != B, thanks for that Score:2, Insightful comment
maybe by then windows will automagically have become secure/stable without all the bloat (no), but for the time being mac's unpopularity does have an advantage. as long as you don't need to play excessive games, macs can usually do anything pc's can (and in a lot of cases, better) take it as a security advantage, not a hinderence. apple also seems to put more effort into their os development then microsoft anyway; like linux, they improve upon code rather than adding patches just to fix errors, and newer operating systems tend to run faster than older ones with all the benefits (xp can't run on some older pcs now that aren't severly outdated, and longhorn is going to require a lot more) i think even if mac were as popular as windows, with equal focus from the virii community, it would still be more secure
shout out to jason yallz

post below gets 5, insightful, for asking if it means nothing; yet asking if it is a "good message" or a "bad message" is surely offtopic
