You know you've been IMing too long when you almost say 'lol' out loud to a non-geeky friend...
Not only a dupe, but it reads like somebody from Mandrake's marketing team hung it up here. That in mind, where's the steak knives I get if I ftp right now?
This sig no verb.
can somebody tell me what the download link is without having to join the mandrake club...
So how exactly does this software empower me ? and what sort of wattage do i expect to see as i am empowered ?
How come Mandrake 10.1 is shipping with software which was already outdated back in the 10.0 days? For example, gaim is at 1.1.0 but they still ship 0.8. What gives?
Slashdot, fix your code or at least hire someone who is competent at it to do it for you.
Try setting up networking(during instalation) with an unsupported wireless card and you will get into an infinite loop. And how about the error message it dispalys - some crappy error happened on line xx in the blah perl script which the end user is least concerned about.
Another problem with free software like Mandrake for non club members is that they dont tell you upfornt at the begining of install that your scanner won't work because it involves a firmware which aint free software and you can find more info on some yyy site. Xsane aint good if it cant scan my documents.
We have to add mandrake 'cooker/unstable' mirrors to get a mandrake rpm of the current gaim, or firefox. Whereas in Fedora the new release of gaim, firefox, etc are updated when you update your system, in their main mirrors- not unstable. Anyways that's my one big complaint with Mandrake.

Aren't we at 3.3.2 now? I understand not putting out 3.2 right as it comes out, but isn't it stable enough?
Miserable failure
