A java server that never goes down isn't that hard, but a java server that actually runs faster than a ZX spectrum...? I think we're gona need to wait for moores law to catch up on that one.

That dude is just too hyper to be realistic after eating, sleeping and drinking java for 8 years. In fact, I'm surprised he's still alive, I would have expected him to suffer at least a massive heart attack or some brain damage. Oh, wait, he codes in Java, so the latter must be true.

Anyhow, SAP stands for Shoddy Applications and Products and ABAP stands for Absolutely Bogus Applications and Products. Go, buy some SAP and ABAP based stuff right now!

Sure, the java developers will make various excuses, but I loathe every Java app I have ever run. This is the norm, not the exception. It is not flamebait.

Generally, they are memory leaking pig apps.

My intention isn't to troll here, but...

Does anyone that knows more than just java as a programming language actually like it? I know a few lanauges, scripting and programming, and was introduced inevitably to java back in 2002 or so.
I hated it right from the get-go. The total operating system independence is the only thing that's cool about this language in my opinion.

The language itself is clunky and overly complicated, not to mention annoying, and the vm is a total resource hog. Everything is slow, and well .. enough of that...

After reading this article, I think I actually loathe it now.

Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go clean out all the hate mail I'm getting from the "I've been eating, sleeping and happily married to java.. exuse me? C? C++? Perl? What the heck are those?" people...
