    Um, I'm no expert on theft trends, but I know at university a pizza box was probably a lot more likely to be stolen if it was left lying around.

    Leave an unattended pizza box alone for 10 seconds and it is gone. This will not prevent theft it will just increase it.

    Because I'm a karma whore, I do believe that it's a reference to the animated series South Park. Unfortunately, I'm too lazy to link to it, but you can find it on Wikipedia. Just look up Slashdot Subculture... or some such thingy-ma-jiggy.
