Steganography (hiding data) has drawn more attention recently, as those concerned about information security have recognized that illicit use of the technique might become a threat (to companies or even states). I've discovered, by comparing seemingly identical JPEG image files found on P2P networks using advanced image analysis techniques, that terrorists are using these networks to further their nefarious schemes. Their attack is two-pronged - first, they superimpose the names and adresses of pornographic content distributors on their files, most likely in a secret code I have yet to decipher. Second, they attempt to subliminally control the minds of porn consumers with messages such as "Stop the War."
