Anti-slash confirms: Slashdot's editors are dying.
In another devistating blow to slashdot's editors, it was learned that Michael was fired as an editor on slashdot. We at anti-slash are proud to have brought about this partial victory by our unrelenting jihad of bringing their injustices to light.
The specifics of this case are documented in this post: http://slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=138099&cid=11

This can be confirmed by visiting http://slashdot.org/authors.pl. Michael is not listed.
Fact: Slashdot's editors are dying
Give up.
That was perhaps the worst, trailer, ever.
Fuck, that wasn't a troll, you 'tards, that was informative: THIS SCREENPLAY IS NOT ADAM'S FINAL SCREENPLAY.
It's BASED on Adam's final screeplay. That, apparently, is a concept far beyond the understanding of today's moderators.
I don't want you idiots to waste mod points on MY post, I want you incompetant hacks to mod down the lyong grand parent post.
Sheesh!
You can't take the sky from me...
THey messed up the cast for Ford. I refuse to go see this movie even though I loved the book.

Ok, first off, my opinion of you: Unintelligent, unable to grasps concepts that differ from the standard labels.
Now that that is out of the way, the meat of the discussion:
So, since being qualified isn't enough... what exactly does a black actor have to do to NOT be the 'token' ?
Hmm... maybe the criteria I NAMED IN MY FIRST POST IN THIS THREAD? Maybe?
Michael Clark Duncan as Kingpin: The only actor around that has the character's stature. He looked the part better than anyone, even with a different skin colour. Or playing a part that hasn't been established as being of a different colour before, or having a part that isn't basically showing up, looking black, then being dismissed while the actual characters with something to do and things to say do their thing.
But, you were unable to understand this the first time I explained it, so I don't expect you to understand this very simple concept this time around. you keep your binary "racist / politically correct" train of thought.
