Star Wars Episode III To Open Cannes

bonch wrote in to mention an article on the IGN site. "The Cannes Film Festival is going to the dark side. After months of negotiations between George Lucas and festival officials, Star Wars: Episode III - The Revenge Of The Sith will open the festival in the South of France in May."

    Well, Fahrenheit 9/11 won the Palme d'Or last year, so it's not like Cannes is some sort of bastion of quality filmmaking.

    Given that Lucas has completed "Star Wars III", he has plenty of time on his hands. Do you suppose that he would lend a hand to save "Enterprise"?

    It badly needs better scripts and actors.

    Why all the hate, I (and most conservatives) don't hate MM, the Clinton's, Howard "yeargh" Dean, or most other sane liberals, we just think they are wrong, and can prove them wrong on may of their points.

    Agreed. I've seen shows on Community Television that are more coherently edited than Moore's "films."
