Carbon Nanotube Towers Could Increase Solar Power

Vict0r writes "Researchers at the Georgia Tech Research Institute have recently demonstrated a way to grow carbon nanotubes in towers. The article also discusses applications for solar cells." From the article: "Reflections off the Gothamesque towers would provide more opportunity for each photon of sunlight to interact with the p/n junction of the cell. That would increase the power output from PV cells of a given size, or allow cells to be made smaller while producing the same amount of power."

    And go fuck yourself.

People have been living in India and Africa for tens of thousands of years, and they still can't build thier own roads.

Maybe it's all the Roman's fault for not exterminating the indigenous people and putting in some infrastructure.

Powerful militaries of rich nations are willing to put up with high margins, people scraping out a subsistance existance don't. And the fact that you're posting on Slashdot as opposed to catching malaria while trying not to get shot for digging one of the world's crappiest wells means you're not willing to put your ass where your mouth is. And that makes you ever bit the conviction lacking coward President Bush is. Grow up, become slave labor, or just kill yourself.
