Adkison Releasing Collectible Poker Chip Game
Klytus writes "Peter Adkison, former CEO of Wizards of the Coast, Inc., and current president of Gen Con, LLC, recently announced the pending release of a new collectible poker chip game." From the article: "Each chip has 0 to 6 clout points. Players have to make a stack 15 chips while not spending more than a set amount of Clout on the stack. Players take turns throwing the chips into the play area and depending on how they hit the table the individual effects of each chip occur. Chips have stats, abilities and powers that affect game play."
So what is this, some new-fangled version of tiddly-winks?
I'll keep using poker chips to play poker.
I cast my 6 on your 4.... ha! The ultra-rare Royal Flush tramples! You can't block! ...
What? I'm 30, and *still* playing CCG's? Eeew...
Yeah, pogs.
I'm betting the top chip is worth $500 and has a picture of Steve Allen on it.
This post contains benzene, nitrosamines, formaldehyde and hydrogen cyanide.
Pokemon meets vegas, I can't wait...
Behold, another webcomic!
No, I won't. I won't spend thousands of dollars collecting these poker chips, sorting them into boxes and cataloging them in my computer.
Never again.
