Revenge of the Sith TV Spots Revealed

Bobert@flixnjoystix.com writes "StarWars.com has unveiled three TV spots for STAR WARS: EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH!" The three spots are shorter than the longer trailer that has been seen earlier, and a little bit more pop action than the dark trailer that gave me hope. Anyway, here is Spot 1, Spot 2, and Spot 3.

    Ok, he's not up to Jar-Jar levels, but that announcer that's doing the voiceovers (the idiot that's saying "The Jedi Must Unite!") in that peppy Beverly Hills voice....just needs to go. Seeing him used for a demonstration of what happens when wookies lose would be very pleasing. Bet he wouldn't be so peppy anymore: "On May 19, my arms will fight the Ultimate Battle! Staying in their sockets! Ahhh!".

    Yes this is OT. Please mod it down to make way for all that insightful, stirring, unbiased and original commentary that is /.'s reaction to Star Wars news.

    You gianormous asshat. That article is from three years ago. ILM deployed a bunch of CompTime machines with Lunix JUST LIKE THE POSTER SAID, and discovered that even compared to their SGI boxen, they were incredibly hard to manage. So they ported CompTime to OSX and are replaceing their Lunix boxen with Mac workstations JUST LIKE THE POSTER SAID.
