Google Maps, Local Expand To UK

Koushiro writes "From Google's official blog comes word that Google Maps UK and Google Local UK have been launched, confirming speculations that the search engine giant would continue to expand its regional services to an international audience. The seemingly logical next step, of course, would be to expand coverage to Western Europe, but given the input Google's UK office had into this project, can we expect Google Maps India next?"

    I'm really glad Google is extending it's services to the UK

    I can't seem to get Google Maps (UK and US) to work in K-Meleon (Mozilla/Gecko based dated 14th april 2005)

    I just get the orange header and the search box and search doesn't work.

    Any ideas? Javascript is on, cookies are on.

    Christ! Get over being Irish already. Who gives a shit? There are other meaningless outcrops of rock between UK and atlantic you know? We didn't hear your big shout out for the Manx did we?
