The Revolution is Coming Mid-2006?

GameIndustry.biz is reporting that the Nintendo Revolution is slated to arrive in Mid-2006. The information comes from a key supplier. From the article: "This is the first solid evidence that the Revolution platform is still on track for a mid-2006 launch. The console is expected to debut at a pre-E3 conference next Tuesday, but it's still not known just how much will be on display - with sources close to Nintendo suggesting that only a pre-recorded video of "next-gen footage" may be shown."

I am the biggest nintendo fanboy that there is, but they consitantly pull this kind of shit. Before it was ultra 64 it was called Project Reality and it promised graphics similar to what gamecube has now. It then became Ultra 64 and was delayed and only footage was shown(example being Final Fantasy 64) and then eventually they released Nintendo 64. I really hope the big N doesnt do this again. Whenever I hear that stuff wont be playable I cant help but smell delay.

Anyone who thinks big N or even Sony for that matter would release a major system before the holiday shopping season is a fool. It'll be 4Q 2006 at earliest.
