Critical Shortage of IT Workers in Coming Years

Juzzam writes "The Herald Sun reports that IBM and university officals are worried about the increasing demand for IT professionals and the decreasing supply of computer science students. From the article: 'The slope shows an unbelievable decline in computer science majors,' Astrachan said. 'There are smart people no longer even signing up to take our introductory courses. We need to fix it, or there's not going to be a U.S. work force in computer sciences.'"

"Dot-coms with impossible business models and massive corporate fraud? Well ok, but I'm curious how you'd go about sustaining those conditions."

By massive corporate fraud do you mean enron, MCI, adelphia et al? I think those were good buddies of Bush.

"Yes, it's a little known fact that Al Qaeda began planning their reign of terror on January 21, 2001."

No, they planned long time ago. In fact a memo was given to Bush whose title was "Al qaeda planning on attacking the US on american soil" (more or less). Bush of course ignored it and went back to vacation in texas.

9/11 was the single largest failure of US security and intelligence since pearl harbor, it happened because Bush was asleep and didn't think terrorism was an important threat. After it happened he rewarded every single one of his highly ranked staff with awards and promotions, he didn't fire even one person.

Bush is 90% presponsible for 9/11 and 100% responsible for failing to punish people who should have been doing their jobs o fprotecting us.

Buy hey, he won't let fags get married and that's the important thing right!
