As the Kyoto Protocol, a Frankenstein of their own making, takes a strangle hold upon Japan's already struggling economy. Must save face. And they will pay dearly for it.
It's like six sigma and they're forcing the sixth level before ever reaching the second or third. Absolutely asinine.
Here we have environmentalists with multiple hats: give the poor all the rich man's money, but take it all away by forcing unemployment and unreasonable economic burdens by using chicken-little ideology to force people to convert to their various secular religions. And religion it is: tithing to be paid to your local and dear tax collector.
None of the governments at this point give a crap about global warming. The real concern is peak oil. Soon enough, nobody will have a choice but to cut-back on co2 output because they won't have enough oil. Any call to curb oil use is to help position the governments for the pending oil crunch.
