Bugs Force Another Round of Mozilla Updates
cybersaga writes "ZDNet reports: "The open source Firefox browser and Thunderbird e-mail client will be updated for the second time in a week due to code changes that have unintentionally stopped some third-party extensions from functioning correctly." More details at MozillaZine. Firefox and Thunderbird versions 1.0.6 and Mozilla 1.7.10 are on their way."
Or, rather, is it that the extensions are now broken? Let's not make the mistake of sacrificing progress for compatibility.
Even worse is that the ubercomplex translation scheme used in the mozilla software is driving crazy the translators.

Whadda ya mean, 2+2 > 0? I thought we were all doing modulus calculations... sure as hell gives me lower prices at the supermarket, although it's usually preceded by a fierce fight with the store clerk...
Cool distro though ubuntu is, it is very late with security fixes.

You are at a loss for words, I understand...so you resort to attacking my sig. :)
Mathematically, rounding is used, of course. Politically, there are those that offer less, yet doesn't add up; most accept the norm or middle of the road; and those that actually offer or produce more than expected. Each are compensated in their fashion. (yeah, I know...hokey, but i'm sure it'll change next week anyways.)
If I really am talking out of my ass...explain it to me with respect so I'll at least pull my ears out to listen.
Maybe you should try Gentoo, it updates all my software everyday while I'm alseep, just set a cron to do
