    The conversion factor from mph to parsecs per second is also fixed, so I suppose you cand do it with a quick mental calculation. PS: Brrr, how is that Slashdot still doesn't allow us to edit comments?

    The conversion factor is much easier for us non-mile users, as miles are just 60% more than kilometers. No idea of what a pound of weight is. Honestly, I thought there were like 3 pounds and a bit in a kilo.

    To clarify: the resolution of the information the tags give to you and you use to feed your real time location software, which my developers and I wrote.

    I developed and managed systems like this for a living in the 2000's in Europe. The resolution of the realtime location of assets for the RFCode hardware was probable the best in the market, but suffers a lot from reflections and too expensive readers, last I heard from them was trying to lower the price for the Mantis receivers.

    Gameforge games are all flash based, at least the three or four I've played from them. I've always stopped playing for the same reason, too much advantage for the paying gamers (I can't stand it even as a paying customer myself).

    Wavelet Intelligent Compressor. And it was intellingent, indeed. It had a compression scheme so good it could compress its own .wic files down from megs to bytes. But what do you mean with "random junk", do you mean my .wic based backups could be in trouble????

    I for one... loved the idea of an Linux or *BSD Google backed PC.

    Is cool in so many ways that is easy to understand all the hype created on this, sadly, only a rumour. I hope all the good public response on the GooglePC makes they think twice about no releasing it.
