Fox to Purchase Myspace

jagger writes "News Corp announced on Monday that it has bought Intermix Media, owner of the popular MySpace.com social networking site, for $580 million. This follows an announcement by News Corp on Friday that it is creating an Internet division to hold the company's sports, news and entertainment sites."
