Jon Bell writes "Derrick Hixson has submitted an amazing entry to the MacMod Mod Competition, a 'supercharged' Millennium Falcon: complete with Mac mini and iSight. It even includes front USB ports. His modguide contains complete build instructions, and plenty of pictures."

    It's against the EULA to open a Mac mini, and certanly against the NDA. Apple will sue.

    They thought of copying what others had done before. See earlier replies to this story. Thinking "let's stuff this computer hardware from Apple inside this toy" is no more innovative than thinking "let's stuff this computer hardware from ASUS/AOpen/whatever inside this toy".

    Certainly future versions or copy cats could be much more involved.

    Hah. Whoever made this just opened up the toy and put a computer inside. Some of the people he copied were much more involved.
