If Andrew burns out, we'll all suffer hugely." Morton himself wants to make -mm releases more often. He sees bugs as more of a problem, rather than patches themselves. His solution is simple: "I'd like to release -mm's more often and I'd like -mm to have less of a wild-and-crappy reputation. Both of these would happen if originators were to test their stuff more carefully.""

I just saw an article called windows is broken, but now it is gone, what happa?
The article that talked about Windows thinking about adopting a more "Linux-like" development process was replaced by an article talking about problems with the Linux development process. Cosmic.
Its.... broken.... or a conspiracy. I managed to ask one question concerning why the article stated Microsoft announced last week its breaking up, as I hadn't heard this news. Then article got pulled... Conspiracy??! HAAHHA

They probably realized that the submission was just putting a different spin on the WSJ story about Vista's development process that had been posted a few days ago.

This is probably going to be marked as offtopic, but it looks like the previous story (MS Windows officially broken) has been removed with 25 comments.
I know it was a dupe (not counting the fact that windows being broken is in itself a dupe), but I'm kind of frustrated not being able to flame the author about it.

Perhaps someone actually realized what a crappy summary that was--the article is about the shift in dev processes that was introduced a year or two ago that produced the Vista that we have now. I was about to post another editor flame about it, but they may have actually been awake today.

Tripmaster Monkey just had a story posted entitled 'Microsoft Windows is Officially Broken' by Hemos. It had 9 comments, but when I went to read it, I got the infamous 'nothing to see here, please move along'. message. The story's completely gone now.
What gives???
So, what happened to the previous lead article about Windows vista being borked. It myteriously disappeared. Maybe it was due to the poor way it was presented with old data from something that was supposedly WSJ but was being served out of an Australian web news site.

No apparently this is a bad combination of old, new and bad news. The annoncement that Vista was broken was a year ago. Signifant changed where made, and its now looking better. The rumor that Microsoft was breaking up was last week, buts its still just a rumor.

I wouldn't worry about it. Normally this (talking about dupes getting pulled) would subject you to offtopic hell. But a quick glance through the comments here shows the simple fact that the words "windows" and "broken" are together are actually getting people modded up
I just looked at the main page and saw "Windows Is Officially Broken" and then it disappeared. Did anyone else notice?
