The clip contains the opening backstory that sets an Alliance assassin on the trail of the ship's crew; it's an effective hook. On Yahoo movies, Serenity is ranked as the number 1 film currently in theaters and is hanging in a top-ten spot in the highest rated movies of all time. Angry, that his favorite operating system isn't supported by every god damn thing in the world, (Yeah, because companies are going to double their development and support costs to satisfy 5% of the computers (which might not even be part of their target market), trying to justify that to anyone trying to "sell" anything will get you a stern look or a big laugh, depending on the person.) the angry linux fanboy becomes a fountain of whiny, I-didn't-get-mine rage.
Look, how he says he'll "skip the movie" now, as if its Joss Whedon's fault himself that Linux isn't so popular!

Alanis Morisette would've had a field day with a company named Universal providing video in a proprietary and plugin-specific format.
