Microsoft Claims Firms 'Hitting a Wall' With Linux
maxifez writes writes to tell us that Microsoft has released yet another independent study downplaying the viability of Linux at the enterprise level. The study claims that Windows is "more consistent, predictable, and easier to manage than Linux." From the article: "The study, commissioned by the software giant from Security Innovation, a provider of application security services, claimed that Linux administrators took 68 per cent longer to implement new business requirements than their Windows counterparts." Vnunet.com has also provided a PDF of the original report.
Sounds to me like you are an average Linux admin and a absolutely terrible Windows admin. Learn the platform before you bash it. If I was your boss you would have been fired long ago for being lazy and incompetent. Peace, RA
This attitude of "I'm not going to maintain my servers because I try to compensate for my tiny penis with a long uptime" seems common amoung linux admins. Remember all those "yet another local root exploit in the linux kernel" advisories? Maybe you should actually upgrade when that happens. Suddenly linux isn't so perfect.
Not to be a MS fanboi, but sysprep works pretty well alongside Ghost.
Nice move, Einstein - discredit yourself by spelling like a juvenile before you've even convinced anybody to take you seriously.
Dear Mr. Jobs,
;)
Please make an IDE worth a poop that will shut Billy up. Sorry, but XCode just sucks for us monkeys.
Thanks!
Oh ya, Appeture rocks and still looking forward to iWork 2.
Well, that's 'cause you don't know what you're doing. I have two images I use on all servers, one for Dell, one for HP (for the system partitions). Using sysprep, that's all I need and can deploy a complete server in minutes.
Which is more painful? Going to work or gouging your eye out with a spoon? Find out!

Crap more tripe form the anti-Windows group. Why don't you grab a torch and and lynch Gates? I can install Fedora in my sleep. I don't need any special skills for that. I know how stuff works because I took the time to learn it. Ahh I need to quit before my head explodes. I haven't seen this much ignorance since my last meeting with management.
