Zone-Spoofing Fixed for IE 7 Home Users

BeanBunny writes "The IE 7 dev team has essentially removed the intranet zone for Home users, resulting in a Web browser that is effectively invulnerable to a zone-spoofing attack. This security feature does not exist, however, on any installation that is part of a managed network. It also does not exist if you manually change the permissions on your Internet zone. However, in Windows Vista, both zones will be run in a 'protected mode,' something that allegedly prevents the invisible installation of code."

Listen, you clueless zealot: FF-extensions are in no way restricted

They are exactly as protected as ActiveX, which is to say: not at all.

Please get it into your head; I know you have been brainwashed by the professional Mozilla-bloggista, but at least try to get a hint of reality.

    Thank you for you efforts.

This leaves the computer nearly 100% safe from malicious attacks" Users will have to buy the Boot-Up(tm) upgrade in order to use their system which is available in both stand alone and upgrade packages.

Do you know why i dont use M$ Wintendo? because im tired of being screwed by M$.

In the past i caught huge amounts of spyware just surfing the web , without authorizing any website to install software or something like that , since i changed do Firefox never more had problems.

After almost 8 years double-clicking to install software , had annoying anti-vírus always saying that i should do a system check , defraging the hardrive etc... i was sick of it , and once someday windows again had a stability issue (this time couldnt shut down Nero) , I understand it was time to change , gnu/linux was the perfect answer(TM).

Besides my conscience doesnt let me use M$ Evilware(TM) anymore.

P.S. Yes i want IE and Wintendo to be insecure and unstable , but hey , im not worried about that , it is M$ speciallity (dont they have a patent on that?).
