Yahoo Reverses Allah Ban

damnal writes "Yahoo's ban on "Allah" in users names, has been reversed. The ban was instituted due to a number of people registering for IDs using specific terms with the sole purpose of promoting hate. Yahoo's comment on the reversal: "We recently re-evaluated the term 'Allah,' and users can now register for IDs with this word because it is no longer a significant target for abuse.""

    I rather think the cartoons are hilarious. I encourage everyone to share them in the spirit of free speech. islam belongs in the third world dirt holes that is the middle east, not in countries like the United States. I'm rather thinking of making t-shirts and ... get it ... PROPHETING from this little idea. :)

    And don't forget, a former vice-president of the US recently gave a speech in the land that produced most of the 9/11 terrorists, while people were killing each other over cartoons or perceived wrongs from 1500 years ago, all in the name of their god, in which he decried "imperialist" America. The guy practically told his Saudi audience we deserved 9/11 and whatever else they could throw at us, and the major news networks barely mention it. The same people who are (rightly) expressing outrage over Arabs running American ports won't condemn someone who told a group of Arabs "come and kill us, please!"

    We are engaged in a huge debate, not over the fact that the control of our nation's ports has been turned over to foreign governments in the first place

    You're right. It's a real disgrace.

    Especially now that we know that all 9/11 airports were serviced by one Israeli-owned company.

    No kidding. OP was refering to that fact that it is forbidden to depict Me-hammered in any pictorial form whatsoever.
