    Well , our Universe is 4 dimensional (Some believe) considering Gravity as a Dimension , and others also include Time as a Dimension.
    So considering it takes Time to solve , and if your desk is slanted, gravity can affect how you use your mouse .
    Does that mean that a real world Rubik's cube is also 5 Dimensional

    Well to solve this problem , take 4 hours a day to work on one arm with a dumbbell . after a few months that arm should be more than capable to lift it around. An added advantage is that you could also use that arm to turn a crank to keep the laptop running more than 3 minutes without a wall socket

    We had an Idiot checklist in my old office, first on the list was "Is it plugged in".
    It is amazing the amount of time wasted because of silly little things like this. I always found it was the more experienced employees who made mistakes like this

    Or on the zx spectrums , you needed to have CPR training to get Games to run on occasion. I have no idea how many times I have had to pound down on the tape deck over the years.

    I always thought the best way to avoid this was to have the version number go by the date.
    Firefox 2006.4 etc.
    thus you kind of avoid the version number problem , you can always append A or B is it is an alpha or beta.

    Well that does sound fairly insane to me. Well in the case of Vista at least , this is totally artificial , IE: There is no reason XP could not run DX10 perfectly happily.

    Non gamers not are willing to spend as much money though, making them more like berries , may of them are poisonous and the others are not rich in nutrients to the degree that bugs are ..

    Think about it like the gamers money , Casual gamers(Berries) and Hardcore gamers(bugs .) Now a bug has a higher nutritional content (IE: willing to spend more money) and most of them are edible . Berries however are fickle things , they are often lacking a lot of nutrients (IE: They wont pay as much) . But since everyone else is going after the bugs , that leaves you with most of the berries , at least those which can be eaten(Sold to)

    Nintendo , Sony and Microsoft are a bit like The Finches in the Galapagos isles(The phantom being more like the Lesser spotted Galapagos Fantastapotamus) .
    Sony and Microsoft are unfortunately both going after the Bugs , whilst Nintendo has decided to screw it and eat berries .
    There are a lot more Bugs out there , but they require more energy to catch and you have to deal with the rival birds.

    Could it be because linux for ARM is not that well optimised . I can't imagine such massive performance gains otherwise , bar a massive bug in the kernel.

    I could also place a wager on it being an intentional leak . No trade secrets to protect here , but letting a little slip at a time could build up some hype , perhaps push shares up and sales.

    The School for life , or life for the School.
    When you have control within you own establishment then fair enough, but outside of that a person is just that a person.
    Now it is understandable in discriminating against police officers who commit crime, but a student is different.
    You have little choice about school and schooling is very important. But the influence of the school should never reach beyond it's walls.
      Beyond the walls of the School it is the job of the parents to care for their children and the activities they partake in.

    A noticeable trend of late is to try and take as much power from the parents and add it to that of the state. don't get me wrong ,the state has it's place but that place is not that of the parent.

    A good rule of thumb , never use your real name online for anything that doesn't need it.
    I am fairly open about my life and work, but I am not that open about where and who I am. Change a few details , omit company and private names and you are a bit safer.

    Freedom of speech is important, and so is freedom of understanding of said speech. So you will influence peoples opinions of you due to your speech, it is part and package of it. If they don't know who said it, they can't hold it against you.

    That seems to imply that people around here don't find those articles just as annoying , and they do.
    The only difference is that it is highly unlikely that there was any payment received for the reviews(to be a touch cynical).
