Capcom and Valve Team For Steam Releases

Capcom titles will be appearing on Valve's Steam service, reports GameDaily. "The first game to come to Steam under this agreement will be Devil May Cry 3, scheduled for later this week. Following that in the next few weeks will be Onimusha 3 and then Lost Planet: Extreme Condition on June 26 (which is day-and-date with the retail PC version). And later this year Steam will get Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix."

Great game, but the logic engine is flawed.

Pick Ryu (or anyone for that matter....that isn't named Dan). Hold down/right. Wait. Right side getting kinda full? Hold down/left. Wait, watch, win.

      Next?

I mostly agree with your sentiment, with one qualifier though. Steam is great for everything but LAN. Offline mode is really not LAN friendly, some of the multiplayer mods for HL2 refuse to even work. Even though its borderline illegal to LAN with multiple installs or whatever, its still a great way to expose other people to the games and get extra life out of them and considering its just as easy to get a hacked copy and online play never worked of pirated version before steam anyway, I think they kind of shot themselves in the foot with no real benefit.

Stream does suck, but not for the reasons you say. It's bloated and slow. It installs a large active application that runs all the time. I bought a game and I just want to play it. I don't want to be forced to view large advertisements. I was already pissed at Stream when it decided I didn't own my game anymore. None of the "support" helped, but I found out how to directly run the game and that still worked. I will never buy another game that uses Stream again. Once again, legit users of copyrighted material are punished.
