Capcom and Valve Team For Steam Releases
Capcom titles will be appearing on Valve's Steam service, reports GameDaily. "The first game to come to Steam under this agreement will be Devil May Cry 3, scheduled for later this week. Following that in the next few weeks will be Onimusha 3 and then Lost Planet: Extreme Condition on June 26 (which is day-and-date with the retail PC version). And later this year Steam will get Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix."
Let me be the first to praise the gloriousness of Super Puzzle Fighter. It is an excellent puzzle game series. I'm glad it is being released anew.
Steam sucks .... blah blah blah... privacy ... blah blah blah... out of business and I can't play my games
No its great, easy to download, no media, blah blah blah
It sucks, no offline play
There is so offline play

I for one welcome our new gaming overlords and look forward to playing the games they want us to.
More console ports ftw! lol
I'm waiting for Super Hyper Puzzle Fighter II Max Turbo HDX2 Re-Remix Plus: Never Ending Dream Battle (with your wallet).
After all the critic ridicule for "Super Turbo" and "Alpha", I wonder why Capcom didn't just go for the year naming scheme used by EA for Madden NFL, by SNK for King of Fighters, by Microsoft for Windows and Office, and by virtually every automaker.
Enough said.
;)
Young whipper snappers.
Karma: Chameleon (mostly due to the fact that you come and go).
..."Street Counter-Strike II Hyper Source Edition".
SHOOOOOOOOOORYUK--BOOM HEADSHOT!!!
You can hold down the "B" button for continuous firing.
Whenever we're on a music-related topic this forum is full of people saying how online distribution is the future, how we should be cutting out the physical copies and the publishing middlemen, and just let artists deal directly with customers.
This is precisely what Valve have done with Steam in the games arena and all I ever seem to hear about it is naysaying and doom-mongery.
It's quite funny really.
erroneous: look me up in a dictionary
Capcom: I'm still waiting for a new Bionic Commando.
Waiting for Warhammer Online.
I really hope they updated it. Devil May Cry was one of the worst-executed PC ports in recent memory.
Capcom vs. Valve - HyperFighting Black Mesa Tournament? That would be spectacular! Ryu and Gordon Freeman vs. Sagat and the G-Man! What a beautiful sounding medley of combat that would make. "Round 1. Fight!" Ryu: "Hadooken!" *Spoof!* Gordon: ... *Crowbar smashing noises and Gravity Gun whirs*
Sagat: "Tiger Uppercut!!" *Bash!*
G-Man: "The right man in the wrong time." *heavy breathing*
I wonder why they picked Onimusha 3 over Dawn of Dreams. Since there are 5 playable characters in that game, one would think that would lend itself better to a Steam-type/multiplayer environment.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.
True, but there was also Pocket Fighter with the same mini characters, and later "Super Puzzle Fighter II X: For Matching Service" which like the "Matching Service" version of Vampire, was kind of an ultimate customizable compilation of the different versions.
With letters which you could actually read if you weren't a kid, then it might be interesting.
If Google really cared they would fix Android Chrome to reflow text, instead of discriminating
What about Viewtiful Joe?
