California Blocks RFID Implants In Workers

InternetVoting writes "California has passed a bill banning companies from requiring employees to have RFID chips surgically implanted. Already one company has been licensed by the federal government, implanting more than 2000 people. At least one other company — CityWatcher.com, a Cincinnati video surveillance company — already required RFID implants in some employees. 'State Sen. Joe Simitian (D-Palo Alto) proposed the measure after at least one company began marketing radio frequency identification devices for use in humans. "RFID is a minor miracle, with all sorts of good uses," Simitian said. "But we shouldn't condone forced 'tagging' of humans. It's the ultimate invasion of privacy.'"

What if the President of the US personally transports a nuclear weapon to your house, keys in the activation codes and blows it up with you standing there beside it? What would you do then?

For our ruling idiot George "Dubya" Bush to do that, the activation code would have to be something too simple -- like "abc123".

What, you dispute the factuality of this? I don't care if I'm being trolled, but have you ever seen somebody with a Nazi concentration camp tattoo? I have. If you'd care to face one of those people and tell them that this is something people are force-fed on TV and in school, then you'd have a sack. But instead you post it AC on Slashdot. Good little nazi-loving pussy.

Fuck you, rabid piece of shit.

I am sick to fucking death of you pusillanimous pseudo-warriors who are constantly shoving our faces in your horseshit like, "If you'd care to face this dead marine's mother ...." or "If you'd care to face this deformed child's father ....".

Goddamn it, I don't want to face any of these people, not because I'm afraid of them or of what they might have to say to me. I don't want to face them because they have made their own self-righteous cause the be all and end all of their own existence and want it to be the same for everyone else's existence. They are impervious to any logic which deprives them of their victimhood and all too willing to shout down, by legislative force if necessary, anyone who deviates in the least from their own narrow point of view. They may as well have stones for brains, as they're incapable of independent thought. They're just like the Bushies in their inability to see anything beyond black and white.

You sound like one of the orthodox Jews who can't abide hearing anything even slightly critical of the Israeli government or its policies. They could be loading Palestinian fetuses on a truck with pitchforks and you wouldn't brook a mild criticism that they weren't properly washing down the street afterward.

Why, in the first place, do you have to play the holocaust card anyway. When I saw the picture, I thought only that the poster meant we were starting down the dehumanizing path of mechanically identifying people. I thought that to be a worthy criticism.

I'm also sick of the people who think they have eternally co-opted the the word "holocaust" for their own narrow political purposes. You put it out that it's abusive when used for anything short of killing millions of your own religion. Sorry, it's just from the Greek roots for entire and burning, no more and no less. And let's never forget that the Nazi holocaust included huge numbers also of homosexuals and Gypsies, who had no connection to the Jewish religion. But no, you don't even want it used to refer to the wildfires consuming large parts of Greece. Fuck that narrow-minded shit.

Personally I have no animus toward Jewish people. But I will not stand idly by while they flog other innocent people for not swallowing the propaganda of their most fringe politicians.
