Air Force Mistakenly Transports Live Nukes Across America
kernel panic attack writes "Surely the late Stanley Kubrick is somewhere smiling at this one. Forbes.com has a story about a B-52 Bomber that mistakenly flew 6-nuclear tipped cruise missles across several states last week.
The 3-hour flight took the plane from Minot Air Force Base, N.D, to Barksdale Air Force Base, La., on Aug. 30.
The incident was so serious that President Bush and Defense Secretary Robert Gates were quickly informed and Gates has asked for daily briefings on the Air Force probe, said Defense Department press secretary Geoff Morrell."
Serious only because of political egg-on-face for the military. Then unwashed citizens will start thinking: Can't fight a war, can't control their nukes. Got an idiot as CInC. WTF can they do?

Sounds like the Bush administration is really startting to take a "tough" stanch against terrorism now... Or maybe Pres. Bush was just playing with the big red button again... :-)
Strikes me that the "mistake" is a cover for a deliberate movement of the missles, that was either accidentally or intentionally leaked. Most likely: message to Iran that nuclear weapons are being actively positioned. I put NOTHING past this dysadministration.

that someone in the whitehouse ordered this b-52 crew to attack american cities with nuclear weapons, but the flight crew chickened out @ 40 thousand ft. Looks like Cheney will have to make some calls to the hidden monsters in his black rolidex to carry this mission out, taking down the twin towers was not enough for this power hungry son of a bitch. His future plans for america will make 9/11 look like a walk through the park.. get ready folks.

Perhaps dropping the first nuke can be justified by arguing along those lines. But dropping the second nuke was simply murder.

Almost everything that's good in the last 150 years has come from the US. What has Islam brought to the world that is not violence and oppression? Nothing.
NOTE some people will claim that Islam produced one or two discoveries in the fields of mathematics or astrology. But even that is false, they merely just stolen them from civilizations that they slaughtered.
Humanity cannot evolve until the problem of Islam has been solved.
