Seeing the words 'Duke Nukem Forever' and 'released' in the same sentence almost made me choke on my toast. Next time, try to break the news lightly or you may end up with a slightly reduced readership.
My money is on glaciologically, so I guess I'm an optimist.

According to an article on ars technica over 18 months ago, a member of their game group managed to cobble together most of the game into playable fashion, and wrote a review of the game.
