    As one of the OS/2 beta testers of every release and participant on several beta-conferences held by IBM and then later using the OS in real life situations with customers, I can truly say you have no fucking clue.

    1. Alt+F2
    2 Enter 'gconf-editor'
    3. Go to 'Apps - Metacity - General'
    4. Edit key 'button_layout'
    5. Move the colon (:) to the left rather than to the right. E.g. Change it from 'minimize,maximize,close:' to ':minimize,maximize,close'.

    Problem solved!

    But the solution is ridiculous.

    I did some searches and found it returned hits which when clicked showed the front page of the issue the search word was found in and then you have to wade through to the correct page and use a crappy magnifying glass to read with. What a waste of time and energy gone into this nonsense.

    I can truly say I will never use this feature.

    Doing any of the things the patent and the article suggests in Norway is illegal. If you have the permission to collect any form of private data from a client you have to protect it and you can only collect what is absolutely necessary and under no circumstances can you sell any part of the information collected.

    It just baffles me that other countries are so lax when it comes to private information.

    The problem with young Americans is that they have an attention span equal to the time between two commercial segments on TV.

    USA will never again become a world leader in anything, get used to it. The time for America is over, USA will over the next decade see a steady unemployment around 20% and it will not drop.

    There is still time to avoid becoming a full fledged third world country but I do not see any work being done to avoid it, quite the opposite.

    This is incorrect.
    Even before Apple launches the Mac, I ran a graphical environment much like Windows under CP/M-86, it was called Gem and was used by amiong others, the British computer Apricot. It was made by Digital Research, the same company that made CP/M
