    Anyone who uses a term like "progressive" to describe their political beliefs is an asshole. It implies that anyone who doesn't agree with you, regardless of their reasons ("your ideas won't fucking work"), is opposed to progress. I like progress a lot, it's netted me some neat gadgets and gotten my family out of being treated like second class citizens, but I fucking hate "progressives."
