JotSpot Relaunched As Google Sites
Gaveen writes "The popular JotSpot, which was acquired by Google some time ago, is now officially part of the family. JotSpot is now integrated into Google Apps as Google Sites. InfoWorld has a writeup on the service."
That's great that InfoWorld has a write up, but could you give me a friggin clue what JotSpot is or why I should give a damn?

Google is just using the separate email address because it is a wiki-based site creator. It's mostly meant for networks like schools or businesses to create intranet sites. If they allowed @gmail.com for example, they would lose the "network" security.
