$30B IT Stimulus Will Create Almost 1 Million Jobs

itif writes "This report takes a look at how many jobs you get if you invest $10 billion each in three different IT infrastructure projects — broadband, health IT and the smart grid. It argues that if you are going to be spending billions on a stimulus package, investing in 'digital infrastructure' creates more jobs than physical infrastructure (e.g. roads and bridges) in the short-term, and you get a whole host of other benefits in the long-term."

I don't and have never benefited from school taxes. I went to private school and I don't have children. Why do I/my parents have to pay to raise your kid. Raise your own damn kid.

Garbage collection isn't covered by taxes where I live.

Health care isn't covered by taxes where I live.

You're completely wrong on burden. The more money I make the less taxes I pay. Last year I paid 9%. The best I managed as a poor student was 13% since I didn't make enough to use any shelters. 13% of your income is significantly more of a burden than 9%. Especially when you have a tighter margin. Rich people write the tax laws. In fact the system is set up to promote screwing it. No matter what you pay you get to use the same resources.

Not wanting to pay taxes is simply demanding to only pay for what you use. People who think taxes are fair and just are basically saying, "I want the free shit regardless of whether I contribute to society or not." That's the definition of heartless greedy egoistical apathic bastard.
