Google Announces New Google Wave "Wave" Notification

eldavojohn writes "Google has announced new Google Wave Wave Notifications where Google sends an actual person to you to notify you in real time that you have a new Google Wave update!" Word is that they hired as many as 10 people for these positions to deal with all the wave traffic.

    You do know the upload feature just uploads a copy, without destroying the original, don't you? Your original self is still sitting at his computer in his mom's basement. You, on the other hand, are just an online backup. Sorry to break the bad news to you.

    P.S. This really hot chick just walked in to deliver a "wave" to your original self. Unfortunately, she walked right back out again before he could take advantage of the situation.
