Kid's Single Lady Dream Is Crushed

This guy is driving the vehicle and manning the camera? He should be in jail, not Youtube.
But then I realized the cable was blue, so I only gave it one star. I hate blue.
I think this is flame bate (God I hope it is), but I will bite.
People in U.S. of A used to be able to get away with this wild reckless kind of behavior. I remember traveling in the bed of a pickup, riding a bicycle w/o a safety helmet, and drinking water straight from the garden hose totally oblivious to saliva borne pathogens deposited by the kid before me. Those crazy days are gone forever. Now that we are growing up, and becoming a more civilized society, I realize that my parents subjected me to child endangerment. They should also be arrested. Think of the children.
In the more civilized world, people should be prevented from making dangerous choices, for themselves, and those around them. Back in the crazy days we did reckless things like send space ships to the moon, or travel on wooden ships that had in no way passed a Coast Guard safety inspection. Now we wory about unauthorized texting, or someone not spending every single ounce of attention to driving on roads that are backed up for miles with traffic jams.
Well, at least we have a president that realizes the dangers that we face. He will wrap us up in a comfortable safety net of subsidized health care. This way noone will be injured or die. If the crazy individualists still insist on endangering themselves and the families (think of the children) by not buying into the program they should be jailed.
Actually, now that I think of it jail is the solution to our problems. 1% of the population incarcerated. I think we can do better America. We can do 10%.
By providing free room and board for those eviceted in the housing crises, America will be fulfilling its social contract to help those in need, and looking after their safety at the same time. I mean you would not let a stray dog just run around will-nilly on the streat. Why should you let a person?

The kid is probably really embarrased because he didn't know it was only for girls.
He's probably thinking, "Holy crap they think I want to be a girl! They're gonna give me makeup and flowery clothes and dolls how do I get out of here!!!"
Frankly, if you drive and hurt another human being due to carelessness, it should be treated just as if you are careless with a firearm. Getting hit by a car @50 is just as likely to kill you as if you are accidentally shot by some gun.

I think my comments are flamebait (Jesus, I pray it is), but I'll bite.
People in the United States have way too much control being placed upon them by the government. I remember, growing up, not being able to sleep at night thanks to police officers preventing crime. I remember having thoughts of fear that I might be disturbed by a firetruck putting out my ablaze neighbors house at any hour of the day. I remember being subject to silly "rules" and "regulations" about the food that I fed myself, and the medicines which I consumed to cure my ails.
Now that we are all growing up, and coming to our sense, I realize that my parents and my government protected me way too much. We should execute them. Think of the liberty!
In a less authoritarian world, people should be allowed to do whatever they want. Who cares if you drink and drive? Your actions can't possibly affect other people. Who cares if you get your buddies together and lynch a (insert ethnic minority here)? They don't really count as people anyway. We don't need no stinking government to prevent the power of the big from crushing the small! Rich, powerful people are, of course, a better breed and are naturally altruistic. Not that it really matters; every person should pull themselves up by their bootstraps.
Now we are trying to provide healthcare for our people. It's stupid. I'm against healthcare 100%. Who cares if there are more sensible ways to fix the health care system. I have one answer: no. Healthcare is a waste of time. Who cares if our people are sick? It's their own damn fault. Furthermore, sick Americans are not a national security issue. We have plenty of able bodied people in peak physical shape that can protect our borders from threats (within and abroad). We never need to worry about emergencies happening on our own soil, either. Lets get rid of the boondoggles that are the National Guard and local police! And back to the healthcare issue; if workers are sick, they can just die. There are plenty of healthy people who can replace them! People are simply resources, like pawns

I guess, I think people should be held accountable for their actions regardless of the circumstances, and not because of them.
Meaning that if someone is drinking and driving or texting and driving, or talking to their wife and driving, and they get into an accident and kill someone, the punishment should be the same.
You and I both may think the person texting and driving is an a$$hole, but in a free society, that person has that right. Now if they get into an accident, it is a different situation. They should be held accountable. Freedom means that individuals must be held responsible for their actions. However it is not up to the state to baby everyone, and tell people how to behave.
There are millions of distractions on the road every hour. Are you going to make them illegal. In some ways engaging in a heated conversation when you are driving is just as distracting, if not more then texting. Come to thing of it, driving is inherently dangerous. Maybe we should keep people from doing that too. It is just a matter of how far you are willing to go to legislate 'good behaviour'

I'm all for freedom but I don't want to wait until my family is killed by a drunk driver for the driver to be held accountable. Whether he does community service, rots in jail for the rest of his life, or gets the chair probably wouldn't matter to me at that point. It wouldn't bring my family back. I'm not sure why it has to be all or nothing. You can do whatever the hell you want until it poses an unreasonable risk to the people around you. The definition of unreasonable is certainly up for debate but I think most of us can agree that it is unreasonable to allow incompetent / impaired drivers of two-ton mechanical killing machines to make public spaces unsafe.
Like this : You can text or talk without the hands free or even drive under the influence, but if you get into even a minor fender-bender it's severe punishment, a good long jail sentence and an "Oh now I am poor for life" fine. Do what you will, but hurt another and you are in for a world of hurt yourself.
