First 3-D IMAX Porn Movie Made In Hong Kong

The movie is being called 3-D Sex & Zen: Extreme Ecstasy and will be the first 3-D IMAX porn movie. From the article: 'First out of the gates, the soft porn Hong Kong film comes as the stricken industry, hit hard by free Internet porn in recent years, turns to 3-D as a potential money-spinner, following on from the success of Hollywood blockbusters such as James Cameron's Avatar.'"

    This is not the first 3D porn movie. I have several porn movies in 3D that predate this by years.

      Yup. The film that is most widely cited as the first 3D pornographic movie is Hot Skin from 1977, predating the film in the linked article by over 30 years. It also featured some comparatively famous porn stars of the day, such as Serena and John Holmes.

    Are you sure it was porn and not the fact that VHS could fit an entire feature film on one tape and Betamax could not?

    Also, porn backed HD-DVD and some how blu-ray won.

    Yeah, I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that betamax could only record 1 hour when it came out, while VHS could do 2 hours.

    This rumor has been debunked several times, if you do a Google search you will find a lot of stories explaining why it's not true. Not only was porn actually available on Betamax (as this pervert demonstrates), but the war was mainly over tape length. Everyone had super-small TVs back then anyway, so quality of the tape didn't matter much, it still looked like garbage on the screen (by today's standards). This was doubly true if you were recording something off the air.

    You can check the validity of your local theaters IMAX claims IMAX or LieMAX easily.

    I've yet to see softcore porn of midget clowns on 7ft women, so I'll stick to hardcore thanks.
